Hey TIGers!

I just wanted to introduce our second game, Light. In Light you need to break into corporate offices, banks and jails to get the 'loot'. We are at a very early stage in development but we've been releasing videos and images to show our progress, some of which are below. Onto the spiel!



Light is a 2D top-down game where you'll see yourself sneaking around restless guards.

Hack terminals to modify the environment to your advantage and get closer to your target. Dodge guards and cameras to sneak past the guards or attempt to take out everyone without anyone raising the alarm, but make one false move and the alarm will be raised.

Opponents can be stunned or killed and dragged around. Unhidden bodies and blood trails attract guards reinforcements; make one false move in Light and all you'll be left with three-shots-to-freedom.

Light is currently in an alpha state and is being actively developed by Just a Pixel for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Looks quite well developed, reminds of Monaco with that top down view but it seems to incorporate more traditional stealth game mechanics, dragging bodies etc.

It's looking great!

Can I ask how are you doing those light effects? I know there are a couple of 2d light plugins for Unity but that one looks a lot better than the ones I saw.

Guess they forgot to tell us they have a Kickstarter for this Smiley

£20,000 base goal, £10 lowest tier that awards the game on release (£8 tier was limited and all taken).

It's been a while! Apologies for going dark on this.
We did launch a Kickstarter however we had an offer from Team 17 to actually publish Light! Not wanting to miss an opportunity we took the offer and are now working hard to release Light with them Smiley

So this is a screenshot from our current WIP.
