What is Katakomb?

Katakomb is an upcoming freeware horror game made with Unity3D by a one guy. It has been in developement for about nine months now.

What do you do in Katakomb?

In the game, you the player explore the mysterious caves and try to uncover the secrets it has been holding for centuries.

Katakombs focus is on enviromental storytelling and sense of discovery. Apart from a few item pickups, journal/diary entries and a few puzzles, there are no deep gameplay mechanics in Katakomb.

Instead, Katakomb tries to give the player an atmospheric journey that focuses on the horror and the feeling of being lost.

Katakomb is a multi-playthrough game and as such, you discover new secret areas when you play the game more than once.

When it’s coming out?

Katakomb will be out late 2013 / early 2014

Developement has gone smoothly for the past two months, but I'm going to take a short break and concentrate on my univesity studies.
