Looks fantastic, Fikey. Will you be keeping in those cool fog effects?

benh> sure you will  Wink

corpus> well, actually ,there's no real fog effects... that's just the trees that have a gradient to the white and give you the impression of a fog.

But hey ,why not do a real fog between the trees ?

Oh, no, I mean the foggy forest stuff that was going on in the thing Ben was working on as you were making that animation.

I thought they were both for the same game.

Yeah, that was the same thing. I think the fog looked pretty cool, but it was against a dark background, so whether or not it will work against the lighter background remains to be seen~

Some other things.

This was a very bare-bones tool I was working on to allow people to upload screenshots of their progress on their jam games. I didn't actually get it working at the jam because of problems with settings on my domain, but I've got it sorted out now and I'm trying to develop it into something that could be useful to people.

Also, the lonely and not-quite-right rock tile.

Man, these are all so awesome! I really wish I'd been there for it. Next year I'll definitely try to have a laptop!

This is an interactive art piece in which the user is placed within a dreamscape. His or her actions dictate the contents of the dream; the analysis of the resulting visuals is part of the artwork and is a reflection of the user's ego/id.

This looks fascinating. Very much curious about this.

Haha, don't be. It's not even a bad parody of art games.

Heh, well it was originally supposed to be a little more coherent, like a proper management game where you have to make sure the sleeping subject doesn't get too excited, aroused, frustrated or frightened. Different elements in the screen would relate to these things and interact in a kind of rock-paper-scissors way.

Fantastic screenshots guys! Post moar!!

Here's my mock-up of the game I've been doing with Terry. The actual game looks a lot like this, and we're going to keep working on it and get it finished.

I love the character design! - does the game play like nebulus?

I keep wondering what you guys talked about at that round table.  It looked like a great time.  I hope I can go when I'm....older.
