Hi guys, Just thought I would let you know after a number of years, our IGF nominated game is finally available to play, fully featured on IOS.

it's a fun, cute 2D action puzzle game with music, design, and art by myself.

Hermit games left the project around 2009, ooki was then was used by the Breda NHTV game design class students for exercises in level design, finally the ios version was finished by Jesse Lampert.

ookibloks has a beat and keymatched Audio system that plays musical notes as you hit blocks and collect bananas, each note is keymatched to the stage song and also triggered on beat, the combo scratch effects are also betsynched, givinga nice musical vibe as you play.

Our ios Pre launch trailer:

If you'd like to play it, its free on iOS

If you've got any questions on the devlopment, what the hell happened, why it took so long, etc, Please ask away!

Thanks!

AT LAAAAAAST! Our game was right there really close to yours at IGF2008. Really enjoyed playing with a Sanwa-style arcade stick, but I guess iOS is really sweet as well.

Anyway, congratulations and I'm very glad you could make it. After all these years I still think that this "music construction" thing of yours should have gotten more notoriety.

All the Best

Thanks dude! - we are getting really positive feedback so far, hopefully if there's enough love we can do a sequel, and this time really get deep into the audio system..
