This game looks wonderful. Very reminiscent of Mega Man but still keeps it's own style and creativity. Love it.

Basically this.

The game gives off a very Mega Man feeling.

I don't like the main character, however.  It kind of reminds me a lego guy Sad

Been pounding out maps mostly but I did take some time and recolor the lifterbot to be zone appropriate.  I'll post a gif of this guy once we get more of his attacks finalized.

Also did the design for the teleport boss.  This guy drops the teleport device.

Would have backed this. Every GIF gets better and better. Love the pixel style, the combat, the inventive enemy types, the gadgets, everything. Got my Greenlight vote

So...when are preorders available?

Paper dolling some poses for the Teleporter boss.   We're working on getting the lift scene up and running as well.  Should have something to show by tomorrow night.

Thanks John!

Tyler is working on setting the lift scene up for the Council Guard miniboss and I've been working on new animations for the teleporter boss.

Looks really good, well done modern-retro. The video in the initial post was too choppy for me to watch, but I assume that's the recording slowing it down. Which leads me to ask what are the system requirements on PC?

Thanks, Trent!   The first intro bit is pretty choppy, we'll have a new trailer out once we get closer to the end of the game.  The system requirements are really low.  The initial release will just require a minimal graphics card and windows 7+.  It runs at a solid 60fps on a 4 year old netbook that is a real hunk.

The colors and graphics are really slick! I like 'em a lot. I think that more of a hue range could be nice? It might just be the screens I've seen, but there seems to be a ton of purple / blue, and no green or reds.

Thanks!  Each zone has a different primary color.  Purple is the first zone, blue is the second.   Interior corridors are a dark turquoisey color.  The final zone will probably be black with red / golds.

these are like the worst colors ever, but the game looks awesome in motion.
I'm affraid some people might dismiss it just based on the screenshots though

The colors are all off a slightly expanded NES color palette . We're fine if people don't like them, as long as we do :D
