Hi all, i wanted to show you a promo pic of the project in which i have been working since a year. Nope, there is not any screenshots yet, when i have it i will start a topic in the feedback forum, i have a very playable version but its a bit soon to show the shots ingame because it lacks a lot of gui elements. Im not the graphic artist of the project, just the game designer and the coder, the graphic artists are Sakura and Marco, i hope you like their work!  My idea is to make a coocking game that likes to all kind of players, even the hardcores ones, i include some new elements to this kind of game as good catchy characters and a relevant story. Dito Tell me why that phallus-shape-nosed-insane-scientific-type chomp is stealing junk food from hungry cactus and animal-ish creatures while a skin-tight hapron wearing jap chick followed by a yellow courageous dog and a purple cat with attitude watch in awe... I'm intrigued   |

The game has a gameplay inspired in the gameplay of cakemania, not the same, its very different but i designed it thinking on the cakemania one so it has some things similar Im using Blitzmax for the code, so that the game will appear in windows, linux and mac and it will be shareware And here is an example of ingame graphic  I prepared a lot of things, i will show them when i release the game screenshots, hope you like it! phallus-shape-nosed-insane-scientific-type

I'm intrigued actually, it looks to me that the phallus-shape-nosed-insane-scientific-type chomp is throwing down junk food for the cactus people. maybe those other guys are trying to put a stop to it by...cooking good food? cmon, i hit the mark didn't i? |

I stand corrected... Plus, it seems that the artwork is insinuating that junk food are bugs in a different shape. I like that philosophy! Good for the kids :D

The artwork has a good vibe actually. A bit confusing because of all the references but still, it looks cute and fun. I'd just make it so that parents won't sue you for showing this kind of images to their kids. :D
Seriously now, what schedule have you planned for the title? Any demos?

Hi, its me again, hehe, at the momment the next thing that we want to release is a screenshot of the game, problem is that we dont have some of the game screen elements done as the points, the money, or the time remaining. We are currently working at the game cutscenes, maybe i will release some shots of the first cutscene before the game screenshots because we want to show the things at its final state We will start working on the game demo before game is complete, so i think it will take a long time yet  |
