Action rpg/rogue like with bullethell elements

aesthetically  inspired by the dungeons in phantasy star 2

Gamplay is inspired by paradroid on the c64, crackdown

All the good npcs and player are in the game and watch style

Changed a bit imagine a game with a 1 hour time limit like price of persia, gameplay like a bullet hell crackdown and multiple floor dungeons like phantasy star 2.

Employ breakneck speed Stealth and race past security at high speed or take the full frontal assault and wade through hordes of enemies as the blood gets higher and higher.

whatever you do , you only have 3 minutes, can you race up the stair wells to the next levels and save the scientists ?


Phantasy star 2 dungeons with thunderforce 2 style gameplay ... but on bikes !

It's pretty fun so far, but far too much of the screen is cluttered with the HUD and blood effects - it covers up all of the action. I'd def shrink the HUD, and stick with a light text on a dark background or dark text on a light background.

As for the blood, I'd either make it so that it impairs player vision a lot less (when you're fighting a horde of enemies (awesome badass carnage time!) you end up not being able to see anything and end up shooting blind (unsatisfying, I want to see some aliens get gibbed), OR I'd make it so it only happens during special instances, like when a monster blows up a few feet away from the player.

Also, the control scheme seems a little strange for a bike - it'd feel more like a vehicle if it accelerated/decelerated gradually. You might even want to overhaul the controls entirely and change it so that UP accelerates and LEFT/RIGHT steer, but that'd be a substantial change.

Hey thanks, im looking into those things ...i need that blood!!!
I tried some inertia with the bike, but it just wasnt fast enough to play the shmup sections, whihc need to be as traditional as i can get them .., the bike kept getting caught in things while turning..


i want to go for a sort of gritty fallout 1/2 vibe with the shops ect..
in a dark twist of events, the only in game doctor is an organ donor, he pays you to give up vital organs ( - 2 HP PER SEC)


Also putting in an npc tavern and expanding the lore of the universe, fleshing out the plot...

so its bat shit crazy

As you travel between the different floors you have to fight your way up the stair case

if you get hit you get spat back out  and loose all your cash ... so, its a bit harsh at the moment

This is coming close to completion after almost 2 years (it was "the milk of ultra violet" originally ).

The plots been revised  alot times but this is the final thing.

//RUSH// is a the  super bike vice unit of the Nauseous Pines police dept (N.P.P.D.).


There was a prototype subject of the //RUSH// program, known only as "Mhlk".

Mhlk is a  Female addict who was used to birth newer units, such as yourself.

Mhlk escaped, but not after they did horrendous things to her.

You are the latest model (also known as "sockets"), All your limbs have been removed and you are wired into your bike.
All in the name of cleaning up the city .

Concerns have been raised over your empathy level for the addicts you are saving ( detachment is essential for your productivity as the junkies you save  just get processed, cut up  and turned into  "sockets")

Mhlk couldnt control her natural maternal instincts over the "sockets" she jump started into this new life, you seem to have inherited these traits.



There is a scrap yard for the failed "sockets" that has grown into the black market  trade center in the city , here you will find a community of the rejected junkie torsos :-

* A nightclub , ran by a suspected drug maker "Ultra violet".

* A "health center" where the rejects come to sell whats left of there shattered bodies for another fix (here you can even sell  parts of yourself that will fetch you a high price).

* A mechanics/gunsmith

* A family watchmakers who are able to manipulate the system clocks in the //RUSH// units, give them more life.


The initial aim of the game is to rescue your quota of 30 in 5 minutes but as it unfolds you come closer to the true horror of your own existence.
