I've done some card and dice games, and ported one to C++ (plays at the console, no graphics).

I write things sometimes.

I think a lot about game design.  Mainly RPG's/strategy/tactics.

I would like to join an existing team/collab with an individual.  If you are in need of services similar to those listed, please tell me a little about your project/team and give me some kind of "audition" task you would like me to perform(keep in mind "novice coder" might even be a little self-aggrandizing), and I will attempt to do as much if I'm interested.

(I will probably not join any team that does not have a coder more experienced than me.  Unless you've got ridiculously good art.)

Dude, if i had that kind of attitude no one wouldn't want join me for anything. You're not even showing anything you previously made. I've seen games with really bad art that are a lot more fun than modern games with stunning visuals, you might want to think about that.

Let's do an academic collaboration.
I'll teach you proper modern C++ (in addition to programming practices), and we'll see if we can make something nice out of it. I don't do art, but I'm a fairly okay-ish programmer.
