It's finally done, the PlayStation Vita version of SwapQuest is complete and will be released on February 23rd in the US and February 24th in the EU!

I was lucky enough to be able to write for the official PlayStation blog about the game and you can see the post here: PlayStation Blog

Now I can only wait and answer emails and hope that the Vita version will find its fans. In my eyes, it's the best version of the game and I cannot wait to get feedback from the players.
Next up are the asian versions of the game, which will be published by Chorus Worldwide. And I'm also looking into making a PS4 version (with CrossBuy for those that already got the Vita version).

Just read through the entire thread, great DevLog! Looking at the Play store reviews, you have 90% of low ratings coming from players that are not happy with the paywall. You are probably losing potential installs because of it. Have you considered making an opt-in advertising option?

Choosing a paywall instead of an ad-based monetization method was probably a big mistake. I got a lot of low ratings and earned almost nothing. But at the time I thought you need to put money into marketing to earn money with ads. Now I know this was wrong.
I'll probably upload a new version soon that makes the game completely free (still with IAPs, though).

Exciting news (to some): as you might know or not, SwapQuest hasn't been released in asian countries yet as I have a publisher for that (Chorus Worldwide). The plan to release it simultaneously failed horribly and I think it was for the better. Now that the Vita version is out I can concentrate on making the asian version with all the knowledge I gathered since the original release.
That mainly concerns the business model we will be using. We don't have anything final yet, but most likely there won't be a premium version this time.

But enough about that, enjoy the first screenshots of the japanese localization.
