Hello, we're the Dragonloft.
We're game developers with AAA experience who are working on our first indie title, which aims to take the endearing JRPG genre and rework it to function in a tighter-paced form.
We've been iterating gameplay and story for around a year, and now we are at a good place to begin figuring out art.
We have a unique Greek Steampunk setting which reimagines the cultures and people of ancient Greece in the wake of an industrial revolution, blending iconic landmarks like the Parthenon and the Colossus of Rhodes with the gears, smoke, and inventiveness of a steampunk world.
Right now, we're looking for a concept piece for our character Nephele, a mechanic-priestess who excels at repairing the wondrous steam devices of her temple to Apollo, but longs for adventure.
In keeping with our game’s JRPG roots, we’d like to have this portrayed in an anime(ish) style.
While this is only a small project, if we like your style and can develop a good working arrangement, we'll likely extend you an offer to work on the variety of character portraits we’ll be needing for the full game.
Time frame: We would like to have the piece finished within a month.
