Don't you think this is a little wide?

Not at all  Cool

I feel like, you need to make up your mind. Is it robotic, rigid, or is it smooth, and lifelike? Atm, it's in between. It looks really unnatural. Food for thought!

We'll get our animators on it Wink

Be careful when using additive particles like that- it can be difficult to fit them into your game's overall art style and they can look weird. I'm sure it'll be fine though, just be careful  Wink

Yeah, this is just some testing crap for performance. This looks dangerous, though...

been working with some new starling stuff tonight, after a very long break. technology has advanced in this time, allowing us to do much more with the engine that was previously limiting us. i've re-written the lighting engine completely, scrapped aload of code, implemented 3d transformations on the camera, entire scene and individual entities

i need to re-write the camera system into something more robust, using actual 3d matrices instead of just offsetting a parent container. we're both real busy with work and personal lives, but this project isnt dead Smiley

I am loving the concept art. I haven't seen art like this being implemented into a game in a while. If all fails keep up with your art your pro and love your style. Can't wait to play!
