Oh, thanks for the link, Arachne. Here's a first test of the Lazycow-shader: - The pixel colors blend a bit to the neighbour pixel (horizontal only) - colors are tweaked a bit for a pseudo-dotmask - for zoomed display, there're scanlines

Update time... I am currently working on an improved version of Powerglove. It will be available for Windows, Mac, Linux and Amiga (A500 with 1 MB or better). There're updated graphics and improved levels with new gameplay elements. The updated 1st level is finished now, with a miniboss at the end...

Woah this is really interesting! Any reason for updating the game rather than creating some kind of sequel?

I agree with JCTWood. Any reason for an upgrade vs. new game? You know what would be cool? Is if each update updates it through a generation of graphical style . Kidding, of course! I look forward to seeing how you update it.

Yes, you're right - it would probably make more sense to call it Powerglove-II, because of all the changes. On the other hand, it's an Amiga port of a C64 game and you can expect some improvements for such ports. I don't know...

Spit the difference, call it 1.5.

1.5 is a good idea! What you don't want to do is pull a Square Enix and do a "1.8 [Insert Ambiguous Adjective] Remix," a la their Kingdom Hearts series

Hm, a text attachment or subtitle may do the job, too... "Powerglove Redux", "Powerglove Reloaded", "Powerglove, 2nd Punch" @joemusashi: yes, it is available for C64GS

Oooh. The transition is smooth! Even with no fancy frills, it's a very clean switch. Looks great!

It's always refreshing to get the latest news about the reactor status. Fortunately, everything is fine. Well... sort of...

Nice update ^^. Even the slightest gameplay (in this case, text) elements are a joy to see
