[sarcasm]Ok, I think that this game need more difficulty, it's too easy[\sarcasm]
the tigers seem to be more hateful than dogs, yep haha, what's next, the pegasus?
ROBOTS. Though seriously, mission 4 takes place in a manufacturing plant/factory that is filled with dangerous things and guarded by drones. That mission should feel quite a bit different than the previous couple of missions to keep the gameplay fresh (though the player will still need the cloak). Hope to do a post on it soon!

Been a while since the last post, but we've been busy making decent progress! We've just finished up levels and background art for missions 3 and 4, and are diving into Mission 5 (final mission) enemies and levels and hope to wrap it up soon. I'll be updating with more gifs of missions 3 and 4 this week! For now, we hope you enjoy a preview of the Hong Kong Mission Screen:

A couple more level previews from Mission 3! Note the assassins are using a cloaking technology inferior to Master Spy's, as they can only move when uncloaked. Are they somehow related to Master Spy's past? Only time will tell...

Demo Update + New PreBeta TrailerWe've pushed out an big art update to the demo on our site: Play the Mission 1 Demo!No more tiles - levels 3 through 9 now also feature custom background artwork from TURBOGUN's artist, John Coxworth, to match the direction to the rest of the game. One of our goals for Master Spy is to have custom artwork for every level of every mission (50 in total, many of them more than one screen), and it was finally time to revisit Mission 1 and give it the special treatment. Preview of new mission 1 level art below, but first, As promised, some still shots from the updated Mission 1: We're currently nearing the end of alpha, and have a majority of the levels designed, and a large portion of those levels already have art in place. We're expecting to get that part wrapped up, and then we'll move on to implementing the rest of the cutscenes, heavy testing, and polishing, before hopefully releasing by the end of this year. Until next time. -Kris

This is great.
I'm assuming the dogs are sound-sensitive?

Quick progress update! - A couple weeks ago we hit 58/50 levels designed! There's officially 50 levels in the game, but there's likely more hidden for those brave enough to search them out.
- Tons of awesome bg art/cutscene progress being made.
- Lots of progress on menus/saves/game flow. Master Spy will have Normal (story) Mode, unlockable Darkness Mode, and Level Select/Time Attack Mode.
- TURBOGUN LLC acquired. We are officially 2 legit 2 quit.
As you can see, we're working hard on finishing up the game. IF we can hit all our targets, we'll be set for release on Steam in Dec. We should be doing a call for closed beta testing soon, so if you're interested, let us know! Until next time! -Kris

Due to circumstances, I’m bummed to announce Sferro won’t be able to continue on the sound track for Master Spy. He is a talented musician, and I highly encourage you to check out his work at the following links below: Sferro EPWetware ComputerSound CloudYou can also follow him on twitter @GirlfriendRec or @gfrSferro. Will have more updates soon. Thanks for bearing with us. -Kris

Got another cutscene implemented this past week. This one weighs in at over 2 minutes. Here's a teaser:

Thanks! Original resolution is 320x240. I usually screenshot it at 640x480, and we'll be shipping it with 640x480 windowed mode. We have fullscreen mode too, which is pretty cool and will probably be default (it'll have black bars on the side with widescreen monitors...and eventually maybe custom borders).

Couple of level Previews: Training Grounds (Mission 3) Heart of the Factory (Mission 4) I think I'm going to write up an article on our process for cutscenes, would you be interested in that?
