So we're making a game and it's called Gnah! (guh-nah)
It's puzzle game about a little guy trapped in some weird heads called Gnahs. By manipulating the heads in all sorts of ways, you'll be able the free your character from those mean creatures, or not.
There are two gameplays, one for playing with the exterior and one for controlling your character in the interior. I like to call it a puzzle PlatRubikFormer.
Here is an example of what it would look like as for gameplay now. (we have to work on our giffing skills).
The character will find himself into many of those heads and each one will have a different puzzle to solve + secrets to discover.
We're using a strange workflow for making the art. I'm a 2d guy and we want the game to be 3d to add a maximum of depth to the game. So I start by making a 2d illustration of one Gnah and translate it in 3d with the help of a magic 3d modeller called JP.
We're planning on making it for PC/Mac and we have other platforms in mind..!
We'll be posting more as the game is being created.
What do you think?
