Progress on the art. Still a lot to do to make it good, but i'm pretty proud of where it's going now. I posted it as a #screenshotsaturday but in case some people missed it : Props to Yan Verde for the help on making it 3d.

Looks really brilliant although I think I preferred it without the 3D look on the interior objects like the bed.

I agree, I'm not 100% satisfied with it. I'll play more with some textures on objects like a pattern on the sheets. Will show more soon..!

Beautiful stuff and a unique game concept. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I feel pacing and unfolding of the ideas is going to be the key here.
What's your workflow? What programs are you guys using?

Thanks! We have so many ideas and it can get pretty messy, yes We're using Unity, 3ds Max, Illustrator, Photoshop. Basically, I make the concept in 2D and Yan model it in 3D then Nick code all the things we need to make it work. Before I draw everything into 2d I design/think of a "puzzle" that I really want to play with and then start drawing the face. Sometimes i would start with the illustration before, depends on the day. The 2D to 3D process is pretty intense. Things in 2D sometime doesn't work well in 3d. But seeing the result at the end is really neat. It's like having your stuff being made as toys, it's awesome. So, that's pretty much it! Here is another 2D concept I made couple weeks ago (posted as a screenshot saturday but not here so...)

I'm a fan of the art style and concept. Will be interesting to see how the gameplay turns out. I saw the pic of the 3D items in one of the rooms. Not sure I like that too much, but playing with the textures may change my mind. Definitely going to be following this! Also, unsure if you saw this, but there's an Indie Statik article on GNAH! http://indiestatik.com/2014/01/15/gnah/

The level you saw won't look like this for sure!
