BG&E 2 is the new "Duke Nukem: Forever"...it keeps getting promised as soon, they release game video, art, and trailers, then a year later announce they moved to a new engine, scrapped everything, and started over. If they keep up with the comparison, when it does come out it'll also totally suck ass. I remember being excited for 2 back when they were talking about it being an early PS3 title, beyond good and evil is one of my fav ps2 games. |

It is great that ambitions towards "large functional scale" like in BGE2 are finally attempted, even when they come out after my funeral. This has been my vision for a 3D Metroid-like before I've seen anyone envisioning the possibility of a large functional scale. Of course then, there is the challenge to get it right but we will get there eventually.
BGE2 has to be as expensive as it looks btw. Teams at Ubisoft vary in quality, some have potential but a bit too over-ambitious visions. In the end there is a possibility to come up with a respectable result eventually.
