Yes, the point is that nms is out first, though star citizen prod started in 2011 and nms in 2012

Star Citzien is multiplayer though, while nms is single player. There doesnt seem to be many single player space sims being released. (correct if I'm wrong, I would like to play games like this.)

Yeah the appeal of nms is the more fantasy, vague space op, plug and play arcade space game.

ya but that's why it's better. there are 38423842483484 space exploration games out there, but not a lot of underwater exploration games.

subnautica already IS a much better game though, i mean, that game is just beautiful, it may be unfinished but i already have a good 40 hours in it..keep picking it up to play again every few patches as they add more and more cool stuff.
Gotta give one good thing to NMS though....it's made me realize even more how much I love Elite Dangerous and even convinced me to finally pick up the Occulus Rift, CH Products Pro USB, and Thrustmaster 160000M so I can properly enjoy it.

Saw a really pretty chain of mountains on a planet yesterday, made a sweet screenshot of em. I kind of wish I had a better PC and was playing the game on there instead of on PS4. The PS4 version of the game has a lower detailed-model range and has large thick patches of grass seemingly turned off, and those are no doubt a big part of what can make those planets pretty, but this was very nice nonetheless. Ill probably put that screenshot up when I figure out how to get those pictures out of my PS4.

I kind of wish I had a better PC and was playing the game on there instead of on PS4. you don't wish that, trust me. also you can copy screens from your ps4 to a flash drive pretty easily. you have to go to your "capture gallery" in the main ps menu thing.

I've been hearing good things about subnautica. How is the non proc-genned environment? Apparently it used to be proc-genned?
