Wow, that was amazing! o_o I wasn't quite prepared for that experience, but it was certainly that.
Well done Increpare! I wish I had it in me to make such things.

Windows version is here: controls: left/right/space Much love to terry for doing the windows build: having trouble getting the music library to work on the windows build on my laptop (and am away from my trusty desktop atm). (thanks for the thanks guys; I have very mixed feelings towards it myself...think I mainly need to clear my head...).

Thanks for the comments guys. Was it based on a specific CPB idea?
Yep: “Here we have fetter’d and manacled Time, who wou’d otherwise slay the Gods.”

Now, that's what I call linear gameplay.

Hee hee, he animates backwards when going left.
Because of this and (mostly) other reasons, I am really enjoying this game.

this is the easiest no-gameplay game i've ever played ... just walk and u r done ..... i loved the dialog tho this is probably where I should wryly mention that there's an (only slightly) alternative ending, for those patient enough to figure the game out...Links to source added in first post. Hee hee, he animates backwards when going left. Ah cock. I thought I had fixed that. Bah I'll fix it some time today :/ apologies if this ruins the game for you... fixed

This was impressive. Visual style and the excellent music work very well together to create an intriguing experience. I guess it must be art, since I don't understand it. I could never come up with something like this...

Thanks for the comments guys. Cactus, your mondo stuff has influenced a lot how I think of narrative structure as relating to games (the one that shows the most obvious influence in its basic structure is still in development...I must finish it soon though ... ). Oh, I should say that the ideas behind this game, as with endless cavern, and several other ideas I have in the works, have all emerged from very fruitful discussions that I've had with haowan about technical matters. Confusing ending, though.
Agreed. Even pasting on a 'the end' would work pretty well
Other things, in particular, that I'm not happy with 1:sluggishness of movement destroys a lot of the geometrical beauty of the game, though the game doesn't reward an understanding of these aspects too much, so it's not too big an issue. 2:I've listened to the music so often now that I find it quite actively revolting; I'm willing to accept you guys's judgement that it's not all that bad though :/
I guess it must be art, since I don't understand it.
