Hey guys! I spent the last week experimenting on a combat system, something I've never done before. I'm not much of a programmer, but I've been getting into it more and more.

Anyway, I have a little prototype if you guys want to try it. It's really simple sprites but I tried to make an interesting combat system.

Here's the the link to the .exe from my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/90uu4aigr504dyl/PSEUDOMO.exe

PC only, sorry! This was made in GameMaker 8.1 Lite.

I'll probably update that link as I further complicate the combat system, if yer intertested. Good day. Gentleman

Right now is there any way to play without a second player?

This could be fun if it were networked or if you had some AI.

Well I'll probably add ai eventually, as this is just a prototype for a bigger game. Maybe I'll try implementing that before adding anymore nuance to the combat...

Well I don't know anything about AI, but I spent all last night and this morning making one, just for you, zexyu.

I HAVE NEVER MADE AN AI BEFORE! This is pretty exciting to me. It's super simple, literally just randomly chooses to move towards or away from you, and randomly to attack you if you're in range and parry if you're attacking. simple, but it works. After I welcome the new year (with drinking) I'm sure I'll spend some more time on it. for now, enjoy being able to choose between single player and two player.
