http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2008/12/01/ludum-dare-13-friday-usual-time/
Start time is 8pm PST on the 5th, so that's 4am on Saturday 6th in the UK.
End time is 48 hours later.

Oh I guess I wouldn't be able to participate anyway, I'm busy with SGA's Warmup Competition.

There's also a countdown timer on the main page (and several other pages) which tells you how long 'till it starts.  When the compo's running it'll switch to telling you how long 'till it ends, I think.

This, more specifically.

It's what I'm making Banana Flip! for.

Second theme turned out as "Colossal", and the final theme is up for vote.
I haven't got any ideas for colossal... o_o

So like... It's Colossal Roads so far? Is that how it works?

Hmm, it does sound tempting, but I don't think I'd be able to whip up something good in a weekend and I'd rather safe my motivational energies for the next TIG compo (please let it have a good theme).

Nope, that's not it. Azn

The theme will be either Colossal OR Roads OR whatever wins today. Tomorrow's vote will be between those three choices.

Colossal could be interesting, but I'd much prefer roads Smiley There are some interesting choices in this third list...

I just got an idea for a very simple to make idea for how a game would work, then I see this  Smiley.  I will definitely try making something quick, though none of the things really will work that well with my idea.  I'll just have to get creative.

Yeah, I am struggling for ideas for colossal right now to be honest, but I have one idea that might have legs. I have something figured out for roads too I think. There are a lot of exciting options in the final list too though.

Giant Naked Men

If colossal gets the go ahead, I say all the TIGSourcers should band together and make a collection of GNM games!

BTW: Can you use Klik and Play, out of curiosity? Grin

Heheh, yes  Grin

... Is Construct allowed, then?
Yeah, of course. So long as it doesn't implement gameplay code, you're fine!
Actually it seems like the gameplay code requirement is only for custom libraries; basically just to say don't write your own game ahead of time and put it in a library ...

I think Klik and Play should be allowed.  The rules for non-custom Compilers, Libraries and Middleware are just:
Quote
Any readily available compiler, 3rd party library or middleware can be used to develop your game, so long as it meets the following requirements. For custom libraries, see below.

    *
You must have the legal right to freely distribute your source code.
    *
If it must be paid for, a functional public demo or free version must be readily available and capable of compiling/running your game.

Generally speaking, this means that any open source or free compiler and library is allowed.
Which is pretty open!
