Gone Away will, hopefully, be the exploration platformer that everyone dreams about. Huge areas, an involving story, good controls. All in, of course, good ol' 2d. More details to come.

The cutscenes are in watercolour? Are they animated? Animating watercolours can look pretty swish, but it's time consuming

Yeah, I am too. The cutscenes are partly animated, similar to the promotional material for dead space. Animated comics or something. And I have no idea what kind of magic the artist is going to use to make it happen.

Well I'm looking towards using magic of the voodoo variety at the moment, I've got some chicken blood and shit going on here.
