There's this Super Ubi Land (http://notiongames.com/) for example, though I'm not exactly sure it's commercial - I'm not exactly good at keeping a track of other games. I'm not aware of any big sellers made in Construct 2, as it is still a relatively young tool and quality titles take a bit longer than the usual proof-of-concept prototypes.

The highly successful iPhone game Cut the Rope was made in C2.

Where did you hear that? I'm almost entirely sure that's not actually the case.

I am thinking about using Construct 2 for prototyping.
I am programming in Haxe, and it is just too slow to test some stuff, I believe with Construct 2 it would be much faster.
Anyone using C2 for this purpose ?

Two questions about the price of GameMaker Studio:

1. Will there be big discount for GameMaker Studio near Black Friday in this year?

2. Will there be big discount for GameMaker Studio near Christmas in this year?

I remember that there were big discounts last year.

Maybe some people still don't know that the GameMaker Studio Standard is free now:

(GameMaker Studio Standard can export games to Mac OS X, Windows PC and Windows 8 for unlimited resources. )

Hi, that version should be the same as a normal standard version.

So, the difference is that Standard allows "Unlimited Resources."

What is a resource?

I believe it's a sprite/sound/font.

I believe those were severely limited for you to make anything relevant.
