Realized last night that we haven't shown any of the main menu UI, so here it goes!

In game we have what we call the Menu Drawer, it comes in a few variations, from buying units, to looking at the game menu.

To get to it you tap on an empty tile, and the unit info changes to menu, tap Menu and it changes to End Turn. tapping anywhere on the map will close it. Might seem a little confusing at first, but once you're familiar with it, it's very fluid.

So we took that idea an used it throughout the main UI
This is what you see when you first load the game. All your multiplayer and single player games will exist in the same list.
Should be neat because you'll be able to have multiple single player missions going at once if you wanted to.

This is our map picker, you'll be able to cycle through different categories, Classic (2 player), 3 Player, Predeployed, etc...
Right now I have some toggles to filter the maps by size. Do you guys have any other specifics you'd like to be able to filter?

Tapping on a map name brings up a minimap preview.

I know it's to late for this but I was just on page two and I think the Sniper should have a scope for an eye Tongue Just needed to get this out there.

After reading you animation process I'm pretty sure that is not going to happen.

Great work so far

@migrafael - Thanks! Haha yeah, I'm not planning on revisiting the ranger unit any time soon.

@Juan - Appreciate it! I try to keep everything as uncluttered and clean as possible. Bites me in the rear on occasion.

Some more work on the map picking UI.

 Blink Blink Blink

This looks sick, very nice art style. And I love that concept illustration. Also an advance wars fan and happy to see this thread pursued.

With art assets this good, I hope you consider putting together* a series of short web comics as part of the promotion strategy for the game!

*Or finding someone else to do it for you.
