I'm Lital from Team Kryll.

We made Below Kryll, which is a 2d retro platformer with one huge world of adventures to explore online

We think its an awesome world to play in since every day something new and unique is added (by the players themselves).

In Below Kryll, when you reach an edge of the world (there are many edges) you get the option to extend the world permanently with your very own made adventure, for all the players to play in.

The game is enjoyable both by oldschool retro platformers, and by people who like to create and publish gaming content.

Any player, if he/she wants, can be a level/game designer. We even give additional tools to sequence a bit of in-game music and create awesome pixelart!

We already have hundreds of areas our players created which contain quests, puzzles, action/parkour areas, pixelart and music

Game trailer:

You don't need to download anything - the game is in-browser, and registration is open and free!

Occasionally we feature an "area spotlight" where we display some unique and creative work by some of our players which demonstrates the product of our in-game level-design tools.

You can find more information in our youtube channel or our website http://belowkryll.com

The game has some elements that reminded me of Braid, and traditional Mario-games as well as Terraria Smiley

First, long loading time but cool loading animation!

The Space + Down control is a bit weird, why not just Down? Maybe remap Down=Speak to something else?

Tip: Let the player play the first tutorial level without showing nagging one with the register screen, but then make the email field a required field.

How many level contributors do you have already? The map looked huge, it looks like many days of fun gameplay.

frik, First of, its always awesome reading feedback. We constantly revise the game and how we display it's image accordingly Smiley Thank you!

The long loading time cannot be helped, we have a lot of assets and maybe in the future we'll tend to it. But - once you loaded it for the first time, the next time the game will load almost instantly (until we upgrade a client version, which happens about once a week or a bit more)

Space + Down issue - nowdays we're reviewing our control layout and maybe we'll change it or let players set it themselves.

We have hundreds of levels and probably a hundred or so level contributors. You have at least a week long of play, ensuring you wont see any two places which are a like Smiley which is what we wanted to create Smiley a game that will always surprise. (it even surprised us devs, after we saw what some players made with the given tools Smiley

About the tutorial tip: Nice idea, we'll consider it!

Again, thanks a lot for the feedback!
