Uberleben is a simple party game where you and up to 6 friends must reach the end of an ever denser growing cave. You can play as a team and see who survives, or you can try your luck at punching eachother into the oncoming stalagmites.
If you collect rings or make risky decisions, you get rewarded with a faster moving speed and punching strength.

The game does not have any music, only atmospheric sounds, however I recommend listening to Truth Seekers Radio while playing the game.

Also grab some friends.

New Version 3.0
Now with spin!

seriously, i love this game. the aesthetics, the way it traces the path you took when you die, the feeling of falling through the mountains or trees...

wow. teknogames, this is beautiful!  Smiley

edit: one thing, pressing escape doesn't bring me to the main menu, just a blank blue screen (then escape again quits).

Same as Farbs... It just caps to 100% CPU usage with no window to be seen, I had to close the process. I have Vista too.

Well, I guess I shouldn't bother trying, then.

I played it, and I think it's great! The minimalistic graphics works really great here! I tried playing it with my wife, and it was great fun to try to punch each other into the walls or other obstacles! (In the game of course! Tongue)

However, when playing a 2 player game, and each player is at the far left and far right of the screen, it's hard to perceive whether or not your character will collide with obstacles. I'm not sure how it could be done differently, but perhaps adding a player shadow on the on-coming obstacles would help?

Also, the rings to collect could be more visible. You really need to plan ahead to catch them, but they're hard to see before it's almost too late.

But all in all, great fun! It's definitely a game that I'll keep on my computer.  Grin

I thought I commented on this somewhere...but it doesn't seem that I did.

Anyway, great game.  I especially like how the camera movement encourages cooperation of players (if you're playing coop); it can get really confusing if they're not moving in sync.

(have you considered doing a 3d glasses mode?  Cool )

Thanks for the link MrLollige, finally got to play.
I love it! And yes, it would've been so awesome for Gamma 3D.

I just played with 5 players, which was very fun and entertaining. However, the mouse is a bit harder to control than the others, and the space key was often pressed accidentally.

Also the rings need a function or get removed
