Technically, mine's Linux as well, but you'll have to get an interpreter yourself.

That's the standard thing to do in votinggs, I think, PDC. Also, only like 34 or something games this compo that's few!

I should have entered Text The Halls... And played more than 2 of the entries... and voted...
Anyway, I said few, not low!

It saddens me that I didn't pay more attention to the Text the Halls compo that and that there were so few entries. I am just getting around to playing them now. I also missed the Procedural Generation compo as well for whatever reason. I will be fully present for this one though! I am currently downloading the torrent as I type this.

Is that allowed? yep; totally. People generally say they don't, though, and I think that the nicer thing to do (to not, rather than to just say that you don't (of course)).

I tried to enter text the halls but I sucked and couldn't finish the game Next time I'll just use inform instead of trying to roll out my own adventure game engine.

I'll try to enter the next contest... I only know a tiny bit a Gamemaker, but I could use the practice! And I only voted for two... I only played those two, and I'd feel bad for voting for games I hadn't played.

I always assumed this was common etiquette! If 10% of the people do it, it makes more of a difference then if 90% of the people do, so it all seems very natural. Vote for their own game, that is. I'm saying I'm supporter of this notion

Voting fo' yo' se'f
Well last compo was the first one I think where there were no entries with zero votes. There are several ways of interpreting that, of course. If publicly people say that voting for one's self is a cool thing to do in general (and I can see many reasons for supporting it), then I'll go along, I guess. I think of the 'not voting for one's self' as a way of sharing the love about, personally.
