Hassle got only 6 votes. :D Why didn't you put all games in one "Increpare Lovecraft 3-in-1". You could make it to the top. Nevertheless, well deserved win.

5 votes? That's pretty much 1 vote for every hour spent making my game :D
Still fun to see that my game got more votes than several others; in your face, Death Lights Dancing, Afterlife Consequences, Pitchblackoids, Bird Mansion, and so on...
...just kidding. Good work, guys!

I feel proud of my seven votes! I think it's more than I received last time.
(However, I would have been so happy if just ONE more person voted, making a total of 8 votes!)

How about letting people make a name for themselves and list which member made which game? I'm fresh here, tried to play them all, but I have no idea who's game it is I like.

This is the first competition I saw from beginning to end on TIGSource, and I have to say it was a lot of fun seeing everyone's entries grow from little germs of inspiration into great, ponderous Lovecraftian monstrosities! Great work all around!

Congrats to everyone who entered, for entering. And to the 17 enlightened scholars who voted for my art game tour de force manifesto (Sinister Names). The rest of you can go drown in eggnog. I voted strategically for a bunch of IF entries.

I only just checked in on the results, and I'm kinda upset that Verge won. For me it felt like the guy took a platforming idea with genuine merit and then couldn't figure out anything better to do with it than use it as a gimmick for solving puzzles. Did it win the contest solely on the strength of its pixel art?

Bollocks. Your post makes no sense. What better way to use a gimmick then to incorporate it into the gameplay? A gimmick without purpose is... lame. Xerus did a good job crafting his puzzles around the core idea. People's opinions usually don't really matter to me, but come on...

Verge had a great atmosphere. That's the main thing I got from the live-world-vs-upside-down-dead-world stuff. The puzzles were gravy. Which entries did you vote for?

Go back to playing your X-Box Also I wish a few games did better, but I think I agree with 90% of how things turned out. Sinister Names will alwyas have a place in my harddrive. -PENCERKOFF
