Hopefully going to make a series of these. We think this is a really good introduction into the game and what we're currently working on...in video format!

So let me know what you think of the first one!

Here are some screenshots from the latest update.

Also I realised while I did announce the project in the Town Hall I''ve not really said much about it here so...

Space Farmers is an awesome co-op action adventure game for you and a friend!

It's filled to the brim with gadgets, gizmos and guns and focuses on true co-op play that's not centered on killing enemies (although there are plenty to kill).

We've got a free alpha you can download right now on Desura: www.desura.com/games/space-farmers

Let me know what you think!

The levels feel a bit empty but still a promising beginning. The music was quite matching with the mood in the YouTube trailer, is it something done bespoke or just a place-holder music?

Hi ephoete, thanks for the comment!

The style of the game calls for a bit more emptiness than usual. We could go round shoving loads of assets in there but we tried that in our test levels and the game looked quite cluttered. Not only that but several testers would try to interact with static scenery that didn't do anything so we felt it was just too confusing in the end.

Therefore we've settled on a more minimalist approach and only included assets we think won't get in the way.

Thanks for noticing the music! Yes I wrote that myself especially for the game Smiley

We've just released the next video devlog! I think we did an even better job with this one.

Check it out below:
