Here are a few images showing the new building mechanic which enables you to create your own modular space stations. These are only a few small parts of what we have planned; the left part is a basic cargo bay and the object on the right is the asteroid refinery.

You can push/launch asteroids into the giant crusher wheels and it will slowly break down the asteroid until all resources are refined into high quality ores.

This month we go into the procedural galaxy that the players will be able to navigate through. The galaxies can have millions of visitable star systems (providing the computer running the game can handle it) and they are all procedurally generated so no two galaxies will ever be the same.  Smiley

We are very early into alpha build and don't have enough in the game to make a worthy demo, though we are working on it and hope to have at least the procedural universe (with all the procedural areas), station building, trading, mining and rival companies in before we release the demo.

We have 50% of the list (and more not listed) in at the moment and are working on the other features we want in the demo. Will update here as soon as we are near something playable.

It has been a while I know, but with the winter holidays and us moving office in the last few months, it has been difficult to update anything without the internet at our new office..... long story....

We do have a new Development Blast that goes into detail about the procedural galaxy and how to navigate it. We also look at the new build modules and requirements for building space stations.
