skype: form.ad My name is Sean O Sullivan. I am a Fine Artist specializing in Sound Art. At university I studied Fine and Applied Arts and now do sync work and exhibit Sound Installations. My latest project being 'Astral Projection' for Culture Night 2013 Festival in Belfast, working as sound engineer for Triptych Media Labs. I usually work in collaboration with visual artists in an attempt to realise concepts and communicate ideas. My practice can be utilised across all forms of visual media. My sync work experience includes 2D and 3D animation,AV installations, video mapping installations, interactive performance, live action and live action performance.
I want now to branch out to the world of video games where tangible audience participation and interaction takes place. From collaborating with other composers for video games (eg HyperDuck Soundworks) I have come to realise that concept driven ( almost always indie ) games are a special way to reach people and exchange ideas, even if not obviously.
My practise communicates and enrichs concepts through synchronised sound, be that music, sfx, processed dialogue etc. The process by which the concept is translated, from one that is visual into one that is heard, is where my expertise lies. I see myself collaborating with like-minded developers who wish to communicate through their games. I am happy to enter a project at any stage, even if no concept has been developed.I would personally be interested in working with developers who wish to create cinematic, thought provoking and immersive games that, in a similar way that can be achieved through film, communicate and exchange ideas with an audience.

I am a competent composer and producer of a range of styles and genres and am willing to work on other projects that simply require suitable music/sfx. I take equal pleasure in these kinds of projects.
