The main game mechanic is the ability to slow down time whenever you want. This is crucial to be able to clear a harder level. When you slow down time you can dodge bullet by rotate your character and also rack up shoots when killing enemies. In the future I want to extend this ability with some more stuff.
The project looks interesting but I'm really curious in how you will extend the slowmotion because I think that it will be the main mechanic that will differentiate your game to a colossus like HotlineMiami... If it's just a slowmotion standard it'll just be an "HotlineMiami with an easy mode ability". I would suggest to make something very cool and unique from that ability to really take the distance from something that already exists

Really stunning lighting, and love the blood splatter visual, in fact I love just about everything I'm seeing here. Can't wait for more!

Wow looks great! The rag doll looks excellent. Much better than the static 2D death animations (although that looked pretty good as well). Looking forward to see more of what the levels look like.

Signed up to this forum specifically to point out how badass the second gif looks. This is seriously some next-level stuff. If this game doesn't blow up upon release, that's how you know that this planet if fukd Thanks a lot, cant wait to share some more stuff from the game. Damn, thought this was dead, so glad you guys are still working on it!

Going to try and post an update here every week now so lets start with some shotgun stuff. https://gfycat.com/PaleRegalAlaskanhuskyA simple scene with some shotgun shooting. Still needs some tweaking on the actual fx for the shotguns, there is a lot of sparks now. Wanted to make the shotgun feel as powerful as possible, it shoots five shots each time so you hit a lot of stuff all the time. In the end you can see the player make a slide, I will post some updates about that at a later time.

More slow motion is always better! But I settled with a 1/5 of realtime, mostly because particle spritesheets started to stutter to much at lower speed, and also Unity´s physics was behaving weird when scaling the time to low.
