The scout could use a liero style aiming, that would also make the play style feel more authentic. To get a good aim you would need to stay hidden, take your time and then fire. The characters that throw stuff could have a system where the throwing angle gets higher as you hold the button, like a 0.5 second power generation, just to calibrate the angle.

The reason why I think those sollutions are better than mouse aim is that they're about timing, not mouse precision, which to me feels more solid and fighting game-like.

Also I think it would be very weird to implement mouse aiming for some characters but not for all. Should the scout move with WASD but the brave with the arrow keys? If you already have an attack button, what will left and right mouse button do? It will certainly feel weird to use the mouse to aim around but a button on the keybord to fire.

Don't think the mouse will bring any good, that's all.

oh my precious baby. i still sit down and work on design doc stuff semi regularly and ive done a bit more concept art, but i simply havent been updating this because i dont want to yank people around until im really ready to do it for realz. the game is pretty complex, but i had the idea to make mini games for each class based on their skills as a way to build up to the complete game.

at this point in my life though, having left college and moved to the city i have impending priorities.

but i will never forget  Tiger


also, will this thread go poof if it falls too far back?
