I love all of these! This one is going to give me nightmares. This one is so sarcastic that it goes right through outrage and comes out the other side of panicked. This is the cutest, most pro looking one. But I'm worried people might think it's a frightened smiley? Ha ha, you hit the emotion right on here. This is the closest to being clearly-humorous mock-outrage, though it isn't the best-looking. The others are all a bit more shocked than outraged, but this is clear outrage. Nice and subtle. But what's going on with his lips? |

Thanks to this thread I found out what the hell I was trying to express with  Nice and subtle. But what's going on with his lips? I think it's a jawdrop. Also, it totally looks like awesome (edited sample  ) mirrored. |

I like this one. What's he saying? You nailed the shock element, but not the disapproval element. He's out but not raged. Still with the weird lips. I love his pokémon eyes though. That hits mock outrage pretty well! |

It's very hard to choose between and  and  . But I think the time has come to proceed to round 3. The-Imp's one has contempt and surprise, but it's not very light-hearted, so it would be more useful for serious situations. Xion's one is full of character, but he's chastising you rather than just being outraged. Gorgoo's one is the best expression of the theme, but it's hard to see it being included on the board, because it's too odd-looking. I think I am going to declare Gorgoo the winner, with The-Imp as a runner up. Xion gets a special mention and inclusion on the wall of fame for a great smiley that doesn't really match this theme. |

Round 3:The Idiot. Sometimes you post something which is stupid, and you know it. And you want to let other people know that you know it, so that they don't think that you don't know it. Because that would mean you really were an idiot. Also, sometimes you say something that's idiotic because you ARE and idiot. And you want to acknowledge it, but you aren't embarrassed enough to post  . That happened to me today, but there was no smiley for the occasion. On this board, we have  and  , but that doesn't really capture it. On some other boards, there are 'wacky' smilies which have rotating eyeballs, for example. I don't want a 'goofy' or 'wacky' or 'silly' smiley. I would never be able to bring myself to post one of those. I want one that looks like an idiot. |
