In the meanwhile, a new #screenshotsaturday, with the some sandbox testing on implementing a tornado powerup where the player is able to summon a powerful whirlwind able to swipe enemenies out of the level.

Well a little step more toward making each day, Upside-Down Dimensions closer to reality. In this case after months of planning and generation of materials, we have launched today our kickstarter for Upside-Down Dimensions, as to be able to fund the remaining development.
You can support us or help us spread the word about it at

Well, we have been of the radar for a while, but we have not stopped developing our game, but we had to bootstrap our way as to be able to keep developing the game.

As a short summary, we have taken the game to steam greenlight that we pass in 11 days, afterwards we took the game to Kickstarter which we fail in most direct meaning of the world FAIL, but for which we were able to take some very good lessons and feedback from people that liked the game.

Here are some of the last screenshots for the game.

Well, I has been a while since you have not updated this thread, but development is not dead, quite the opposite, we have increased the effort in moving the game forward, in the way we have initially designed it. We are now reaching the point where we have decided to publish the game by episodes and having the first episode in a beta state, where we are making intense playtesting as to make sure that all the mechanics are correctly balanced and adding up correctly to the overall fun factor for the game.

One of those mechanics, the box puzzles, was causing issues with the player ability to move through the game, as in some cases, they were unable to see the correct solution, or in others, sent the box to a place where they would be afterwards unable to recover it. To help out player and avoid the later situations, we have implemented a reset function that allows the player to reset the puzzle to it is original state at the expenses of loosing a little amount of paper Life/Mana ( in Upside-Down everything is made of paper.

Visual effects are not the final ones was we are still testing the functionality.

Well. Finally.

After long months of hardworking in UDD, we are finally close to publish a first version of the game in its current form.
It has been a very long and complex period of time, filled with obstacles and challenges that we have been able to overcome the best way we could, never taking our focus from getting the game to the market and to players.
Now, we are putting another step in the path to make the game a full reality by taking it to Steam Early Access, which will give us a very good opportunity to see how players react to the game, and make if necessary the adjustments needed in the mechanics to improve its overall fun factor.

The next weeks will be crucial for the future of the game, as it will evaluated by the true judges of games, its public.

Stay tune for more news, as we unroll UDD to steam.

Well Quite a late Screenshotsaturday, but we have been fixing bugs for our game on steam early access. In this case with piled boxes that made moving the top box impossible, and in the same occasion, checking if the new reset mechanism works correctly with more than one box.

You can check the game in our steam store page.

We have just made Update #4 on Upside-Down Dimensions in Steam Early Access.

We are working to close bugs and make the game progress to the most stable version, while at the same time integrating some features that some player asked us, like Box Puzzle Reset, Coop Multiplayer, etc...

You can read the announcement with the features added and the bugs fixed here.

We have uploaded our Update #5 to steam, fixing bugs, improving performance, and fine tuning some mechanics that players suggested to us, as for example, the need to weight the usage of any mechanic with the consumption of paper life/energy ( which in UDD is the engine that runs everything)

Example with the stealth mechanic from the princess.

We have also been working in the integration of the cooperative multiplayer feature, which is not yet fully integrated, but for which we are finishing the UI.

You can find more details about the changes in our steam page, indiedb page, game page or patreon.

In this screenshotsaturday continuing the testing on the world destruction mechanic to be used in the second world of the game, where evil starts to destroy it with fire and extra difficulty.

As the player progress through the second world, it will face a world being torn a part and burn down to ashes. It will have an extra pressure to solve the puzzles and face the enemies before being ouf of world to move.

You can play the current world in our earlyaccess
