I am writing to announce the opening of the first
International Game competition for Education and Research (http://www.iGAM4ER.org) Thisis a worldwide competition aimed at undergraduate and graduate university students.
Participants are encouraged to develop innovative and incentive games to engage the largest community into learning through research and
questioning. We invite students to make games prototype (games at large) to open education and science to anyone willing to learn, to
contribute and to have fun.
The game can be done on any kind of support and related to any research and any department.
By encouraging the development of scientific games with a research methodology , we want to convince the younger generation to invent new ways to learn through research and to promote citizen science.
The Grand Prize is 3000 euros.
If you are researchers or games professionals you can participate to get a higher visibility during a public exhibition on video games.
Teams with the best projects will be invited to refine theirs and prepare a presentation for the final. The final will take place in
Paris on December 2013 (13,14,15) at Cité Internationale des Sciences et de l'Industrie, one of the largest and most visited Science Museum.
