Hello everyone,

I am Alex from GlobZ in Paris. We started in 2000 (!).
We do Flash games for clients and for ourselves. The team is 5 people.

Our Globulos game was Finalist of the IGF.

The game is 100% free to play.
Some options can be purchased like character customization.

I have heard "Spore meets Loco Roco" comments before but our game started in 2003.

i need to thank you, during these days i got a very bad cough and i need to do aerosol several times a day. Because of the possibility to play using only the mouse i'm playing Globulos while doing this and i feel a little less sad.

I was thinking with all those characters, there would be abilities or something.

I think there are some kind of powers that you can get, they cannot be used in the beginner land though (only in the other two servers)  (I'm using my power of deduction here, that when beginner land says "cannot use powers here" that implies you CAN use powers in the other servers)


Anyways, pretty neat setup.  I think it is something that could(?) do well in Korea (considering their MMO game state).  I also think I define this as a "coffee-break game", which is hardly a bad thing, I've been trying to design one for years now.  Sit down & play for a little bit, then get back up and head off to work again, etc.

Can't give much more opinion than that, I just spectated a whole bunch.

They were finalist in 2008. 2009 finalists aren't out yet.

we are finalists of the SXSW in the games category

you could vote for us! ;-)

By the way, we just introduced medals in the game. The medals have been calculated since early september so you could even have one if you logged in before ;-)
