I meant they were not correct as far as perspective goes. They fit in the picture. We're not trying to take away your pink lines.

we approve of the doggie-wogs. The styling is very nice; he looks sort of weathered (I could sort of imagine the dog being in his 'fifties' from his face...but the shirt makes him appear younger). I dunndo...there's a good deal of life in it I think anyway. (not sure what I think about the eyes, though?)

Since this page contains none at all competition except the sink-hair owl I finally dare to post a piece of mine. Has a connection to one of my projects Looks swell. Might I suggest you put just a tiny bit more work into the eyes? They doesn't feel as finished as the rest of the picture. Just a suggestion, think about it.

Hm... About the eyes I tried to create that sparkling reflection you see when a strong light is directed into an animals eyes in darkness. It's not really the shape of the eyes you see as much as the round reflecting surface of the iris. But I'm not sure I really pulled it off, I'm actually not good enough to work with that complicated optical phenomena Any tips? Michael, I love those turtles! You got any more in the same style?

I've tried doing things like that several times. Usually I just make a new layer, use the brush with soft edges, and then play with the layer settings. (and add new layers if I'm not pleased with the result) ** Above image layered in photoshop**
