Does anyone else feel like their game is absolute shit until they add graphics, in which it suddenly increases in magnificence by 10,000? (I don't have graphics yet but I often feel that way)
Yes!

I was almost going to give up on Saturday night before I added the rough final graphical stuff. It sucks because I'm not very good at art stuff and it takes me ages, so I usually leave it until last.



The Gathering! A tiny town-builder where you have to deal with monsters coming from the forest every night. You can't win without somebody dying.

Really great visuals like the low poly you have going on and impressed with what you achieved in the 48hrs.

It is horribly optimized, so it might not run if you have an old computer. The pepsi consultant is the villain in this game.

Made a game about mining for gold beneath the surface.  Only really got the basics done, I didn't have much time to add manny challenges or items to buy.  Maybe I'll expand on it in the future.

I played every game posted here that I could on OSX. I hope to play the rest on my Windows machine in a day or two! Really awesome stuff!

I made a game called "Kill or Kill: There is no die". It's about being an insane murderer who has to do his daily chores.

I'm happy with it for the most part. Collision boxes are a little messed up, and cops have crazy eagle vision, but it is playable from start to finish without TOO much frustration. I'm really considering making a proper full game with the general concept, but with stealth mechanics and total chaos when you go on a murder spree.

GreatBigJerk (sorry, but that's your nickname) I liked your game and as I said in the comment I left at the LD gamepage, this needs some more animations. I know, it was only 48 hours, but you can add some now. I think that would improve the game a lot!

Yeah, I was originally going to animate everything. I REALLY wanted the main character's limbs to wiggle like a inflatable tube guy while moving, but time restraints prevented that and I went with just gliding around.  Concerned

I'm going to go for a slightly different art style if I do a proper full game. It'll definitely be actually animated if I do.

I wish I wasn't only pushing buttons throughout it (and screaming from not making jumps) but for three days that's a full package.
