I would love a demake or at least a PC release of Spelunky XBLA
Edit: I would love a PC release of Spelunky XBLA or at least a demake I would love a demake or at least a PC release of Spelunky XBLA. I don't see myself getting an Xbox any time soon. Have they said anything about their contract and the likelihood of a PC release?
I asked in the reddit Q&A, they said they were planning on it, but it wouldn't be this year Cool

Well, I think we have grounds to get something started. I will start pixel arting, does anyone have the full GameMaker license and code writing capabilities? If anyone has info on new characters that would be helkpful. Also, I'm kind of new, should we start a new post?

It would be really cool if enough people got together to extend the original Spelunky. But don't just copy Spelunky XBLA. That would be lame. Make it something unique! Spelunky was one of the first indie games I played and it has a special place in my heart, and it's just plain fun.

Yeah I see what you're saying, wouldn't want to cut into the XBLA sales. Additional content and such, more levels, characters, enemies? Co-op would be cool if it were possible.

Much better to make your game. For example, I'm doing an adventure game and is also inspired by Spelunki. In no case, not a clone. Do not think. Just another game.

I just came to realize that the game I've been working on and off for 7 years plays exactly like spelunky (it was started before spelunky)
