Oh, I see it, yes, but could you just put a frame around the text, or something? To make it "stand out". Something like this: What if the text glowed blue like the fur/icicles of the creature in the third pic? It would probably pop more, and having all the text one color would increase readability. You could always make it blink a different color during hits if there is a gameplay reason for the colors.

Hi guys I'm currently working on a Night Riders mini-game in Light Fairytale, coming on the next Early Access patch (#4). I was initially planning to use the code from Super Night Riders, but in the end I didn't and preferred making an new - simple arcade game similar to the early 80's racers. It's rendered directly on the screen of an arcade in the game. Here's a few shots bellow. This is still a work-in-progress. Any thoughts?

Hey guys The Steam Early Access of Light Fairytale Episode 1 is currently a bit past 3 months. If everything goes as planned, the full version will be available at around the end of April! On a side note, I've started learning and using Unity around 5 years ago - in March 2014. Since then, I've worked around 3 years on Light Fairytale, 1.5 on Super Night Riders and 0.5 on various projects. Here's a comparison shot between the 2014 early prototype and the 2018 build: Bonus, here's a look on the official T-shirts based on my games currently available via Amazon Merch. You can grab them here: neko.works/goodsAny experience selling official goods from your games like this? Which platform would you recommend? Thanks

Hey guys I've been working on improving the battle system. I've removed the ATB-style timer and replaced it with a turn list in the right part of the screen. You can also see your target when selecting an enemy, or ally - for healing. I think the battles will be a bit more strategic this way, and also a lot faster - no more waiting for the timer. Here's a work-in-progress shot. Any thoughts?

Now that the console ports of Episode 1 are done, I will focus on the PC version of Episode 2 until the release in early 2020, so please leave your feedback in the upcoming posts Here's a shot from a realtime cutscene I've been working on since a few days:

Hey guys I've been working on a new dungeon in Episode 2. It's an ice maze with a cold wind coming from its core. Here's a highres screenshot and a GIF: Actually, I've worked on this scene years ago - in 2014 I think. Here's a GIF of the old version: Any thoughts?
