Here's a couple of screens from a game I'm trying to make. The first is a loading screen (I'm thinking the ship will sail across to indicate percentage loaded) and the second is the title screen.

What I'm trying to do is limit the palette of the entire game to 32 colours. These two images share a palette. I know that I'm lacking in the way the diffusing/shading is done. This is because I did the images in full colour and then paletterised it down.

How can I make these look better?
