A few years ago I started http://www.AGBIC.com as a way of bringing together the A Game By Its Cover game jam. Sadly, since then I have become too busy to manage the process. This years http://famicase.com exhibition is almost upon us, which means that a new AGBIC could start this summer holiday.

So, I am looking for volunteers to take over organising/running the game jam and related website.

Requirements:
1. web development skills (site runs Vanilla forum software - php/mysql)
2. love of indie games
3. time to spare

Please respond here if you are interested.

Thanks!
matt

Ah, AGBIC was cool!  I think this subforum does not get a lot of traffic; did you ask for help anywhere else as well?

It looks like the site is already made; what kind of web dev needs to be done on it?
How much time did it take to run?

Didn't take much time at all. An hour here and there, mostly just forum data entry to setup the pages featuring game.

I will renew the domain in the hope that somebody will come forward.

I'll try to put a notice on the site so that people will see it.

I love the idea of this competition, I was asking for a new one at the old thread even.

Unfortunately I only fill the second requirement for managing it.

I take it you found someone, as the front page says back in 2014?  Coffee
Don't really understand why this jam never gets that much attention, I really love it.

? I still see 2012 on the front page.  The famicase page says 2014 now, but that's run totally separately.

Instead of just dropping out, why not just look for someone to help?
Too bad I can't take that from you. I just don't have the skillset nor the structure at home to devote time to this...
