Hello everyone, today I’m starting the devlog of my next game, AMI!?

AMI!? is a digital party game that focus most on it’s players and their interactions. Players must compete in mini-games to score points and be victorious.

AMI!? doesn’t require controllers, kinects and such, all you need is nice people.

List of things you can expect when you play AMI!?

- High-fives
- Yelling
- Hold people
- Running around
- Betrayals
- Broken friendships
- Partnerships
- Making new friends
- Tightened friendships
- Lots of arguing
- "get your game on" (naughty you)
- Lots of laughter
- Frantic action!!11!111one

This is a game meant to be played on a big screen(or projected) on the living room in an ongoing party.

HOW IT WORKS

The game will throw mini-games at the players and they must try to win according to the mini-game’s own rules. This will go on until the rounds end and a WINNER come off of it.

What? mini-games? which kind of mini-games?

It’s very diverse, really, it ranges from mimicking an ‘old monkey’ to convincing the others you’re the most beautiful player (we all know YOU are).

There are also different game modes to make a more diverse use of different rules with mini-games and try to keep players on their toes as the game asks you to think fast and adapt quickly to gain advantage over other players.

Right below is an example of ‘Lightning mode’ where the players are given an action/task they must perform quickly before others do.

At the beggining of the round the game tells you which game mode will be next

and then the mini-game

(UPDATED 20/07)
on hold

I’m very fond of multiplayer games with cool player interactions I wanted to make a game people could play together with their friends and have cool stories to tell the next day.

As I said before, this is a game very focused on the people playing it, so I’m trying to be as open as possible with the development. I'll update things on my twits and tumbls as well.

Most of base setup for the core gameplay (of the prototype) is ready
motion is consistent (and don't have bugs anymore)

background moves now, really like coding animated background
thinking about syncing the colors with music (later, when i'll have to worry about music)

pretty excited with how things are going so far
crunching to see if I can get it on an event next week and get some live reactions.  Shocked

This reminds me of B.U.T.T.O.N.

However, good luck with that, I'm looking forward to it!
