Overall it's tons better. I like the gun a lot better and the general positioning since it comes off looking a lot less cramped. However, I also liked the "cute face" of the old one better. The problem with this one is with the eyes. They look evil, yes, but they also look kind of crooked and cross-eyed. I think the eyes need to be a little more evenly rounded like in the older portrait or more elongated like in the sprites themselves. Also he is starting to look like like a snake and that's because his neck is so long here. If the neck line on the right curved up and off of the portrait a little further up that would come off a lot better as well. Good work so far.

Hey Feliz, thanks for the feedback. I tried to incorporate it into the current sprite and here's what I got:

The eyes are a bit larger and set further apart. Also I shortened the neck, but not much, since his face would disappear behind the shotgun. Hope that fixes most of the problems though.

If someone else would like to make more changes, please feel free!

I like the latest one, it strikes a good balance between 'evil' and 'cute'.

I really like the new portrait. The gun looks much less awkward.

Really? There are good things about it, but the gun just makes the whole thing look pretty cramped and awkward in my opinion. I think the new one looks very nice.

hey don't you think liero's flametower it's a bit... overpowered? make it more like a shotgun, with a delay between one shoot and another. also he's needing walking-flametower sprites cuz they're missing (or you can just remove the walk-flametower). also a little knockback to prevent masive Fagness would be awesome.

Um... the lack of knockback is the balancing factor. If you're close enough to an opponent to hit him with Flamer, then your opponent is close enough to hit you. And Flamer will do nothing to stop the attack. As the lightest, most fragile character in the game, this is very bad.

Flamer will let you get some damage on an opponent that begins a melee assault. But relying on it is a losing strategy. Liero is best when he sticks to ranged attacks.

I know a good combo:

1. Lay down spikeballs.
2. Fan the spikeballs away.

With this you can kinda trow spikeballs.

That's fun and powerful if you can pull it off. You can use Chiquita Bombs the same way.
