I know this is a pet peeve more than anything, but it really annoys me when there's a "GIFs of games being worked on" thread, and instead of posting to that, people put GIFs in the "Screenshot Saturday" topic. Again, this is really just a minor annoyance, not an actual complaint. I just want you guys to keep it in mind.

I'm guilty of this. I make gif's of my game on Saturdays rather than screenshots because to be honest, it really doesn't screenshot that well.

what do you lose out on? if someone has a scene they feel works artistically well with a still they'll use the still, otherwise seeing a gif is more interesting and you learn more about the game and its programming. I mean technically it is just screenshots played in sequence

I'd rather have a clean screenshot saturday thread. GIFs make it slow to load on some connections
