These will be my next game, called: Mighty Retro Zero. As you can see the player looks like a minimalistic and pixelated Megaman, and after the Keiji Inafune clone called "Mighty No. 9" well i decide put this name.. Really the game started more like an platform engine developed on Multimedia Fusion 2 showing a short game featuring a super-pixelated megaman. Actually i don't know exactly how will be the final game, now i'm simply adding features to the engine like shoot arrows and walk over them, etc... The actual idea is create some short mni story and a lot of challenges featuring leves with references of arkanoid, pang!, metroid,etc... The game have a 960x540 resulution with a 8x scale. Also i'm using a 8 color palette, the main colors of the gamejolt.com website. The game will be launched for at least PC(windows), Online(Flash) and OUYA. Looks pretty nice so far. Any particular reason for the gj palette? Also, it seems like that explodey block is a bit overpowered...

Looks interesting. I'd say that it would be best if when the player moves out of sync with the pixels (i.e. is halfway off a pixel) it rounds to the nearest pixel. It always looks a little bit off to me when there are heavily pixelated things moving around very small distances. But maybe it's just me.

My idea was use a weird palette with low amount of colors and well the gamejolt palette was perfect . All the items and powerups are provisional not finals and also in the final version the duratioion will be only a few seconds. Looks interesting. I see, well, the game will be always like now. For that i will need to remade all in 1:1 resolution, 120x67. I made varios pixelated gaes and is the first time i get this type of feedback. ¿Anybody feels the same? .

What you mean? the Arkanoid level will be playable in the game if you ask this. I adore tiny pixel games, looks like it's shaping up to be pretty fun! Also the limited colour palette works really well. Can't wait to see how it develops
