ZELDA!... But there are so many after that.
One that seems to slip many people by is Little Samson, a purdy little thing resembling Megaman, where you can switch between 4 different characters at any time, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. It's nothing out over the ordinary, but quite a bit of fun (and the bosses look incredible). Also, you shoot bells. BELLS!

Couldn't find any better images than this. Everything's either heavily jpegified or stretched. Look at those backgrounds <3

Also, european megaman boxart.

1. Tie between Contra and RCR
2. Ikari III: The Rescue (God knows why, but this game rocks)
3. TMNT 2: The Arcade Game
4. RBI Baseball
5. Mike Tyson's Punch Out

Just out of curiosity, did anyone ever play this weird Castlevania clone called 8 Eyes? I'm still not sure if it was good or bad, and I've played maybe twenty hours of it over the course of my life.
