This is a great idea. I love it. I hope you're going to carry the rating system and all the info from the DB. Might already be there but the app crashes for me (Vista)

Hmm, I like the idea, but it doesn't seem to work for me... It runs for a bit but then crashes, and the list of games remains empty.

I hope this idea turns into a great thing.

Oh! This is very neat.

Here are my initial impressions: I tried to download La Mulana, at which point it switched me back to the Your Games tab and did nothing. It appeared to do the same thing with Knytt Stories, except that it apparently was downloading it, and some time later, actually added it to the Your Games tab.

Is the idea that games only get added to "Your Games" once they have finished downloading? It would be way more intuitive if there was some sort of indication that the game was in the process of being downloaded once you've double-clicked it. I was kind of confused for a while there.

Oh, about the general database; there are some other interesting databases in other languages on the net ( this one, for instance).  Have you thought about contacting these people as well?  There might be some interesting possibilities here as well.

Ha, cool! That might make sense, especially since I speak fluent russian.

Anyway, I'm working on a new version update. Gonna try to release it tomorrow.

I use Vista. I'm guessing I shouldn't even try it (since everyone else says it crashes on Vista). Is there anyone with Vista who it's worked for?

That's very good news!

After the attack on RetroRemakes it was impossible to download War Bus, which I was just about to show my brother; quite frustrating indeed.

The flood of Compos (i.e.- Landfall) is probably keeping certain key people busy. (and that's a good thing, I think, as it means more games)

Oh well. Shrug

No, Landfall is Toastie's entry for the Cockpit Compo.

Sorry, Paul, I'm confusing most of the time. Embarrassed
