Yeah, it's coming along slowly. I'll try to get a release out before GDC.

I have something like 10TB worth of bandwidth per month on my web host at BlueHost which is somewhere in the US of A, I assume. I'd be willing to host repository of games if you need to. I also have a ridiculous amount of space, so that won't be a problem. I plan to keep this web host for the next decade or so.

Necromancy time!

I was just wondering, how is this progressing? I still hope to see this working!

Ivan doesn't appear to have done anything since February online. This is obviously a very exciting project, and if I knew how to do anything other than write and edit text, I'd love to help.

I just want to mention this (for when I finish it) But I'm working on something called 'The TIGBox Portable' no relation to this TIGBox.

HAY GUISE!

I have had very limited time in the past few months to work on TIGBox, but it is still on my radar and I had some chats with Jeff about improving reliability in the game downloads a while ago, so this is definitely not forgotten, just on hold for now.

I will definitely let everyone know as soon as more progress is made.

I had a chat with Toastie about this a while ago about the reliability of downloads, and what that means is that there are currently at this time no standard for how downloads are arranged for the games that are listed on TigDB.

Because of this, it makes it very difficult to do the second part of TigBox which is getting the user playing the game with very little fuss. While archives are obvious, executables are difficult to predict. Some exe's could be the game, some could be the installer and the list simply goes on.

Unless if some sort of standard setup, this portion of the project is difficult to resolve.
