It's a bit off, but I can't put my finger on why...

I would expect the wave from the paddle to propagate a bit longer too.

It has been a while since my last post so I'll leave this update.

Development is ongoing. I've just finished a batch of animations but have decided not to spoil these.

The next big piece of work missing is a revision of the item upgrade system. The current implementation won't scale the way I had envisioned and therefore needs to change. Otherwise, I still need to format the Mushroom Forest and Undead Catacomb levels to use the new camera system. To get the demo out sooner I'm considering dropping incomplete parts such as the dialog with Dysangelos and the XP stone. Finally, there are some UX issues that need work to ensure everyone understands how to play.

In other news, a small game I was working on, Ki Pets, is now available to play for free! (iOS only)

Work done this week

Features:
- Figured a name for the evil tree boss
- Deadwood Canyon tree now complains when you chop it
- Added upgrades for Shovel and Hatchet

Improvements:
- Reworked Sight Stone visuals and description text
- Renamed Deadwood Valley to Deadwood Canyon
- Improved torch attack animation and reduced smoke particles
- Changed the symbol ÿ to ý in the ascii table
- Minor balance pass on some levels

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the Star Stone was being granted twice
- Fixed a bug related to the Star Stone where Caves of Fear difficulty was not increasing
- Sight Stone now appears in your inventory properly
- Fixed bugs related to particles in the UI

Yeap. Had some trouble with that one. How's Xýlalgis instead? Fits the same character length, maintains meaning and I think is easier to read.

Yeap. Had some trouble with that one. How's Xýlalgis instead? Fits the same character length, maintains meaning and I think is easier to read.
Strip the second L, so it reads 'zee-luh-giss, and I think it'll be perfect. Unless you intend for the second syllable to be the stressed one. In that case, zee-'lull-giss is fine Smiley (Though the only way I can say that fast is if I say zee-'lo(w)-giss.) So really I'm indecisive on the L.
